After many years on the Barwon Terrace site in Belmont , Calco Trusses and Timber are about to embark on a large redevelopment of our office space. This project includes the refurbishment of the original hardware store space to house reception, customer service, administration and detailing areas along with management offices.
The project, being designed by O’Reily architects of Geelong and project managed in house, will feature a two level structure with mezzanine features providing a mix of office and open plan spaces, customer focused areas and facilities. Large windows will provide a mix of light and space to the design whilst providing an imposing street frontage.
The distinct design elements include a mix of timber and steel to capture a modern industrial feel, wrapped around a centralised lift whilst providing a welcoming environment with designated discussion and meeting rooms.
The project has been recent planning with construction to be commenced around mid 2017.
Once completed, the main expected outcomes will include
